Purpose: To find out if haze varies in the atmosphere.
Hypothesis: If the Aerosol Optical Thickness of the atmosphere is measured throughout the day, then it will be found to have steadily increased from morning until late afternoon.
Conclusion: My hypothesis was wrong. The Aerosol Optical Thickness in the atmosphere was not higher at the 5:00 pm reading, which I thought it would be. It was not consistent at all. It varied throughout the days and times, without any kind of pattern. If I could have calculated it over a year, more often throughout each day, then maybe I would have been able to observe different results throughout the seasons.
