Kindergarten

Welcome to the new school year. We would like your child to be completely prepared for their eventful school year. Please provide the following:

1. Glue sticks
2. Baby wipes
3. Markers and/or colored pencils
4. Water colors
5. Work folder
6. Coloring book

Please be sure to check when your child is running low on these supplies. We are looking forward to a great year.


1st Grade

Mrs. Clark's Class Only

1. Soft Backpack
2. Washable Markers
3. Washable Water Colors Paintbox
4. Colored Pencils
5. Large Box of Crayons (no more than 64)
6. 2 Glue Sticks

Please label all supplies with child's name.

All other 1st grade classes

1. Folder for nightly homework
2. Soft Backpack
3. Supply Box (long is preferred)
4. Washable markers
5. Milky Pens (optional)
6. Washable water color paint box
7. Colored pencils
8. Large box of crayons (64 max)
9. One jumbo Gluestick
10. 1 pack white printer paper
11. 10 different colored 3-D paints (a.k.a. Puffy paints, squirt type)

Please label all supplies with child's name.


2nd Grade

1. Soft backpack
2. White index cards (lined) 3 x 5 inches
3. Card file box (plastic) for index cards
4. A,B,C dividers for file box
5. 1 spiral notebook (100-200 pages)
6. Homework folder (pocket type)
7. Pencils (#2) large supply
8. Pink Pearl or other good quality erasers
9. Large, thick, colored markers
10. Colored pencils
11. Small Pencil box or pouch for desk
12. Large assortment of crayons
13. Bottle of Elmer's white glue plus glue sticks
14. 3 red ballpoint pens (for correcting)
15. Scissors

Note: Individual teachers may add to list based upon needs of class. Please keep in mind that student desk space is limited.


3rd Grade

You will need the following supplies:

1. 1 1/2" - 3 ring binder
2. Paper - wide ruled, lined white paper
3. 1 box markers
4. 1 box colored pencils (for art class)
5. 1 spiral notebooks
6. 1 ruler
7. 1 inexpensive set of water colors (Room 36 only)
8. 1 pair of scissors
9. 1 pencil pouch or small pencil box
10. 1 backpack or carrier


4th Grade

You will need the following supplies:

A. Binder - large rings
B. Dividers for each subject - Reading, Math, Health, Social Studies, Language
C. Paper - Wide ruled lined white paper
D. Pencils - no mechanical pencils
E. Marking Pens - for correcting
F. 5 single subject spiral notebooks
G. Colored Pencils
H. Pencil Case - the kind you keep in a notebook, no pencil boxes
I. Combination lock only
J. Scissors - adult type, your name on it
K. Dictionary - small, to be used for classroom


5th Grade

Zipper binder
Lined filler paper
Graph (squared) paper
Pencil case that fits inside binder
Number two pencils with erasers
Blue or black ball point pens
Red ball point pen
Yellow highlighter
6 inch ruler
Protractor
Small scissors
Washable markers
Colored pencils
5 single subject spiral notebooks

Additional supplies, such as poster board, report covers, art supplies, etc., may be needed for projects during the year. Students will bring home information as the year progresses.

Backpacks should not be so large that they cannot fit in a locker.

Sweaters, jackets, lunch boxes, etc., must be clearly marked with the student's name.

Please note that fifth graders are expected to do their school work in cursive writing, using a blue or black ball point pen. Math will be done in pencil. Students should practice writing with a pen if they are not used to it.
