All living things need food, water and air. They also need a place to live. The place where an animal lives is its habitat. Everything that surrounds and affects a living thing is its environment. All living things need an environment that is suited to their needs. The 3rd graders in Mr. Monello's class selected an environment, built a diorama and wrote a report focusing on one particular animal in that environment. Below are the students' dioramas.
