Roadrunners

Roadrunners are very amazing and fast birds. Roadrunners are the state bird of New Mexico, and can live to 7-8 years old. They can lay from 2-12 eggs at a time. They can grow up to 24" in length and can grow up to 12" in height. They can also weigh from 8-24 ounces. Their typical diet is mostly insects, lizards, scorpions, snakes, rodents, and other birds like pigeons. They have long and stout legs and a long, graduated tail carried at an upward angle.
