Regional Animal Habitats
3rd Grade Social Studies
Teacher, Mr. Wendell Monello

Third graders extended their study of the regions of California by exploring animals and how they live in certain regions in order to survive. The students created dioramas showing animals in their natural habitat, some living in desert regions, others oceans, mountains or forests. In addition they wrote reports to go with the dioramas that explain where they live and other interesting facts. Below is a selection of the excellent projects by our students.
