Triceratops
by Celine E.

I chose this dinosaur because it was one of the most fascinating and popular dinosaurs ever.
Time when this dinosaur lived on Earth: 68 to 65 million years ago, the late Cretaceous period.
Size of dinosaur: 7.9 to 9.0 m. in length, 2.9 to 3.9 m. in height, 6.1 to 12.0 tons in weight.
How it looks: 2 large horns over their eyes and another small horn just above the nose.
What dinosaur eats: Triceratops were herbivores. They ate plants.
How dinosaur moves and speed: Triceratops walked on all four legs.
Other interesting facts about my dinosaur: Triceratops is one of the most common dinosaur fossils found. Triceratops is the size of a school bus.
