Pteranodon
by Brittany D.

I chose this dinosaur because it is different from most dinosaurs.
Time when this dinosaur lived on Earth: 89.3-70.6 million years ago.
Size of dinosaur: 23-30 feet wing spans.
How it looks: A long beaked bird with extremely long wings and sharp claws.
What dinosaur eats: It ate fish.
How dinosaur moves and speed: The Pteranodon was a low speed soaring aircraft.
Other interesting facts about my dinosaur: The Pteranodon was a reptile, but it was not a dinosaur. It evolved separately and lacked the hips and stance of typical dinosaurs.
