Dear Preschool and Kindergarten parents,

It is a pleasure to have your children in my "very special" music class this year. We will be learning many new songs, learning new instruments, and creating a love for all genres of music. The children are excited and looking forward to every session.

Each day that I have them, I will be sending home music sheets with illustrations and words of the songs. The children love to color them and sing them. I hope you will take some time to experience their enthusiasm and sing along with them. Last year many of my parents made a "Music Sing Along" folder. Parents told me they kept the sheets together and shared them with their child while driving home and visiting friends and relatives. I certainly encourage you to do the same!

Helping children discover music is a gift for life.
