Each day is planned to give your child experience in both group and individual activities. Our full-day program is planned from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and a half-day program until 12:00 noon. The school is open and supervision is provided from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. The typical daily schedule is:

6:30-8:50

Childcare-Free play in/outside. All centers open: Puzzles, table toys, blocks, dramatic play, etc.

8:50-9:00

Line up, wash hands and toileting.

9:00-9:15

Circle Time-Attendance, flag salute, calendar, weather, stories, songs, finger play, etc.

9:15-9:30

Snack Time

9:30-10:45

Lessons, art, crafts and/or cooking projects followed by open centers, Spanish

10:45-11:15

Outside Play (weather permitting)

11:15-11:30

Line up, wash hands, toileting

11:30-11:45

Language, story time, music and movement

11:45-12:15

Lunch Time

Art, crafts and/or cooking, sensory play, music and movement, language exercises & centers.

3:30-4:30

Dramatic play/listening centers followed by open centers.

4:30-6:00

Childcare-Indoor free play & open centers, outside free play and supervised activites: coloring, painting, water tables, etc.

Parents are asked to send the following items with their child: one "emergency" change of clothing (underwear, slacks and shirt or dress), one small blanket for rest time (full-day children only). These items will be sent home for laundering as needed.
