The following reminders may be helpful in preparing for kindergarten:

1. The contract is written for the academic school year. The contract is only acceptable at the White Oak campus.

2. The yearly tuition should be divided by ten to get monthly payments. Child care from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and after 3:00 p.m. is included in the tuition.

3. Lunches are optional and are an additional charge. Students not on a regular lunch schedule may purchase their lunch on any day for a nominal fee of $4.00. Milk is provided to all students including those who bring their lunch.

4. The following immunizations are required BEFORE a child enters kindergarten:

a Mantoux TB test within twelve months of entering kindergarten
a fifth DTP Booster
a Hepatitis B series (3 doses)
a second dose of MMR
a Varicella immunization or proof of immunity.

All immunizations must be verified with a copy of the yellow immunization card from the doctor.

5. Kindergarten class hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please be sure your child arrives on time. If your child arrives after 8:30 a.m. please come to the office to sign in. If you need to sign your child out before class is dismissed, please do so in the office. DO NOT go into the classroom during class hours.

6. No open toe shoes or sandals may be worn. For safety purposes, closed toe shoes must be worn at all times. Tennis shoes are recommended for active play and daily physical education.
