Batter Up!

Question: Which material on a baseball bat hits the ball farther: aluminum, composite, or wood?
Hypothesis: The composite bat will hit the ball farther.
The overall thing I learned in this project is about the
material on the bats. Did you know that composite
is made of graphite fibers that are designed to
toughen the materials. The composite bat also has
more than one layer. One thing I have learned is that
the way I did the project was incorrect. Instead of
judging the bat on where the ball landed I should have recorded where it stopped. This would have changed the outcome of this project because the
aluminum hit the ball farther on the ground.
