Edward's letter to Nathan
My name is Edward.
I am 5 years old.
My favorite color is blue.
I love to eat apples.
I like to play on swings.
In Room 30 we are learning about apples.
Edward was one of our kindergartners who introduced himself to his new Pinecrest Northridge pen pal by writing a letter. For the second year, Mrs. Lloyd's Van Nuys kindergarten and Mrs. Carson's Northridge kindergarten have worked together on this pen pal project. Throughout the year, the two classes will write to each other and send pictures they make.
The project will culminate in the spring, when the children will meet their pen pals in person for a party.

October 2006 - Northridge sends pumpkins to Van Nuys
