 Academic excellence deserves reward and recognition. The Principal's
List and Honor Roll will be given to qualifying 4th and 5th graders.
The criteria will be as follows:
- A GPA of 3.5% or
higher in core curriculum subjects will be the award of
Honor Roll.
- A GPA of 4.0% or
higher in core curriculum subjects will be the award of
Principal's List.
- An "A"
or "B" average in citizenship is a requirement
for both lists

These awards will be given to the students each quarter on Awards
Day. The awards will consist of certificates and other tokens
of recognition.
Pinecrest strives to have students achieve at their highest level. We
believe this will be a motivating factor toward academic excellence. We
feel recognizing these efforts is important to all students at all
levels. These awards affect all levels of education. Citizenship
is just as important as good grades. Awards are given to students
who excel in all areas of academic achievements. These students
are looked upon as role models by their peers and give other students
motivation to succeed. |
