| November 20, 2009 - An annual event at Pinecrest Valencia is International Week. Every year each class chooses a country to represent and studies the culture of that country. The week's activities culminate in the International Day luncheon. Families brought in fabulous foods from their country and shared these treats with the other classes. We saw foods from across the globe, including Japan, Spain, Greece, Ireland and beyond. Students wore costumes or shirts to represent their country. This multicultural event is an opportunity to give our students a taste of the culture and customs of our world family. Thank you to all of the parents that contributed the wonderful food and their time. |
