November 30, 2007 - An annual event at Pinecrest Valencia is International Week. Every year each class chooses a country to represent and study the culture of that country during the week. The week's activities culminate in the International Day luncheon. Each class brought in foods from their country this year and shared these treats with the other classes. We saw foods from across the globe, including Ireland, England, Soth Africa, Japan and more. Students wore costumes or shirts to represent their country. This multicultural event is an opportunity to give our students a taste of the culture and customs of our world family. Thank you to all of the parents that contributed the wonderful food and their time, and to the students who didn't let the rain get in the way for the day's events.
