April 2, 2008 - As a reward for their hard work during the school fundraiser, and to reinforce lessons learned during Red Ribbon Week, students were treated with a visit from the BMX Stunt Team. In addition to demonstrating their amazing tricks and skills on BMX bikes, the team spoke to the students about how the riders could never have gotten as good as they are on their bikes without having the clear minds that come with being drug-free and by working hard in school, in order to learn the math and other lessons that helped them build their ramps and figure out the stunts. They also reminded students about the importance of wearing helmets when riding their bikes.
