Summer Programs, Policies & Terms

1. This statement of policy and terms covers all Pinecrest Thousand Oaks Summer Programs.

2. Children register for classes/camps by the grade they will attend in the Fall of 2008.

3. Refund Policy: In case of withdrawal for an extended illness, the patron and the camp will share the loss in tuition equally. Refund for medical reasons applies only to absences of one week or longer and requires a doctor's note. No refund is available for any other reason.

4. We reserve the right to dismiss any child from the camp program. In such cases, we will refund pro rata for remaining time in camp.

5. Medical Forms: Pinecrest Thousand Oaks Summer Program requires a completed Emergency Information Card to be returned before the first day of attendance.

6. Insurance: The student accident coverage is a supplemental coverage. This benefit covers expenses that are not paid or payable by any other group or blanket coverage.

7. Parents are urged to mark all clothing with name tags to insure complete identification of all items and to protect against loss. Pinecrest Thousand Oaks Summer Program assumes no responsibility for loss of stolen personal property. We discourage all camp participants and staff from bringing anything of value, such as jewelry, money, expensive clothing, toys, Game Boys, CD players, trading cards, or whatever else the latest fad is to school/camp with them.

8. We have zero tolerance for weapons or anything that can be construed as a weapon. We do not tolerate foul language, threatening language or harassment of any sort. Violation of this is grounds for dismissal.

9. We expect children and staff to dress appropriately for the summer activities. However, we do not allow clothing which allows any underwear to show, excessive display of skin (halter/crop tops, short shorts, etc.), or clothing which interferes with safety (e.g., exceptionally baggy or too long pants). Campers in violation of the dress code will be asked to change into more appropriate clothing. NO SANDALS, OPEN TOES, SLIP-ONS, PLATFORM SHOES OR ROLLER SNEAKERS PLEASE!

10. Payment in full is due on the 1st of the month unless other arrangements are made in advance. All checks should be made payable to Pinecrest School.

11. A signed enrollment form is a release which allows your child's photo to be used in any promotional material.
