CURRICULUM

The Pinecrest curriculum includes a core program of phonics, reading, spelling, language, handwriting, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education, as well as enrichment in art, library, music, computer science and Spanish. Basic instruction is supplemented with field trips, assemblies, and after school sports and 'discovery classes'.

We are proud of our positive incentive programs which include Student of the Month assemblies and our 6th Grade 'Out to Lunch Bunch'. To encourage reading, our "Reading Ranger" and "Kindergarten Reader" programs offers incentives to students who complete outside reading goals.

Pinecrest School’s curriculum meets or exceeds California state content standards for each grade level.
