Reading Rangers is a transitional incentive program designed to recognize 1st and 2nd grade students who develop the reading habit.

Reading Ranger Requirements:  Five hundred pages of leisure reading per quarter are required for quarterly honors. Reading Ranger Cumulative Incentives: 500 pages- Bookmark & Frozen Treat Cert. 1000 pages- Homework Pass 1500 pages- Free Dress Pass 2000 pages- Family Reader Magnet 2500 pages- Readers Today Leaders Tomorrow Mechanical Pencil 3000 pages- Star Reader Pencil Topper 3500 pages- Reading Sharpens You Mind Sharpener 4000 pages- I'm A Star Reader Key Chain 4500 pages- Nuts About Reading Squirrel Pin 5000 pages- Star Reader Medal

At the end of the year all students who participated in the Reading Ranger Program with a minimum of 500 pages read will receive a $5 Borders Gift Card to get a head start on their summer reading to prepare for the fall.

Complete the Reading Ranger Form including a parent signature and return to your teacher.  Your teacher will add pinecones to the pine trees in your Reading Ranger Forest.
