Pinecrest Middle School Yard Rules

YOU MAY NOT LEAVE THE BOUNDARIES OF MIDDLE SCHOOL WITHOUT A PASS FROM YOUR TEACHER.

No hanging out, running or playing in the following areas:

• Ramps to classrooms
• Kitchen
• In or in front of student bathrooms, or offices
• Locker area is allowed between classes only.

No running in the walk areas on campus.

Students may eat and drink in the lunch area and drink on the blacktop area. Students must put trash in trashcans.

No tag, football, wrestling, or play fighting in any area at any time.

No skating or skateboarding on campus. Skateboards must be placed in the principal’s office during the day, not in students’ lockers.

No cursing or use of inappropriate language or behavior.

Cell phones and pagers may not be used on campus. Cell phones need to be turned off during the day and kept in the students’ locker. Camera cell phones are never allowed on campus.

Students must wear Pinecrest shirts after school until they leave campus, except on free dress day.

Students must follow the rules and listen to the counselors. Any problems that cannot be handled on the yard will be referred to an administrator. Detention or loss of privileges may occur.
