Parents are required to sign their child in and out of our campus. The parents or legal guardians are the only individuals who may release a child to our campus, or pick up a child from our campus.
Dress Code
All students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade Five re required to wear the approved school uniforms. Students who are not in uniform one day, will be required to dress in acceptable uniform the following day. Please refer to our Dress Code for specific details.
Involvement and Volunteers
Parents are welcome at Pinecrest and are encouraged to choose channels to participate and support our program. The Parent's Advisory Committee is one way in which parents may participate.
Birthday Celebrations
Birthdays are important occasions for children. Out of kindness, when inviting classmates to a birthday party, please invite: (1) all the girls, (2) all the boys, or both boys and girls. If a selected group will be invited, please send the invitation through the mail rather than hand delivered at school.
Classroom Guests
All visitors must enter through the main lobby. Classroom guests who are visiting teachers (i.e. teachers, firemen, policemen, nurses, etc.) must be approved through the office prior to their visit.
Health
Emergency cards are kept on file for each child so we may contact parents in the event of illness or an emergency. Parents are responsible for updating this information so our cards always reflect current information.

Holidays
Please check your school calendar for a list of holidays.
Lost and Found

 Photographs
School photographs are taken every year. Pinecrest Schools provides parents with these photographs as a holiday gift. Class pictures are available for purchase in the Spring.
School Hours
School hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Class hours for elementary school students are 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and preschool students have class time from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lunch and recess times are posted in the office.
Parking and Entering our Campus
Parents enter our parking lot and choose to park or drive through the drop off area. In the afternoon, parents will need to turn right out of the driveway. Left turn is NOT an option in the afternoon due to middle school traffic.
Disaster Procedure
Our children vacate to our back field. If it is necessary to vacate the premises, our disaster location is the parking lot of Moorpark Presbyterian Church. |
