| October 2007 - First graders led an assembly about Christopher Columbus, telling their schoolmates about Columbus' trip across the Atlantic in 1492 on the Nina, Pinta & Santa Maria. He was in search of a route to Asia, and found America instead, and through his actions taught us all about courage and not giving up. The students finished with a song describing the voyage. |
