The BFG (The Big Friendly Giant)

Sophie is a seven year old orphan. She is a very brave and intelligent girl who helps BFG stop the other giants from eating all of the people.

The story takes place in giant country, which is located on a very large yellow wasteland on the very edge of England. Sophie and the BFG meet and become friends. They live in a cave surrounded by dead trees and other giants.

The resolution of the story comes after Sophie and the BFG create a special dream to send to the Queen of England. In the dream giants attack the citizens of England. Following her dream, the Queen declares a new law forbidding giants to eat people.
