Annie is a girl who likes adventure and is not shy. She is the little sister of the other main character named Jack. Annie is seven years old with dirty blonde hair that is always in pigtails. She is dressed in ancient Greek clothes on this journey.

The story takes place in ancient Greece. Annie and her brother travel to Olympia and find the poet who wrote the story of Pegasus.

Annie sneaks into the Olympic games. She is dressed up in a soldier's costume. When Annie cheers, her helmet falls off and the crowd gets angry. Girls are not allowed at the games. Pegasus saves Annie and Jack from the angry crowd.

Pegasus brings Annie and Jack back to the treehouse. They are happy to be home, but miss Pegasus. Then they learn from Morgan LeFay that they are never alone and can visit Pegasus in the night sky because of the constellations. Constellations are groups of stars that form pictures of Greek legends.
