2008-2009 Admissions: Thank you for visiting our web site. We are extremely proud of the strong academic curriculum, enrichment opportunities, and extended services of Pinecrest Schools.
Applications for admission are considered any time during the year. Pinecrest seeks responsible students with a sincere desire to work within the classroom and school community. The first step toward admission is an interview with the student and a brief test. Admission is dependent on whether the student appears able to benefit from a Pinecrest education, and the parents' support of the aims and goals of Pinecrest School.
Classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m., which includes one-half hour of study hall from 2:30 to 3:00 for 1st – 5th grade. Kindergarten classes end at 2:30. The campus is open from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Supervised child care is offered at no additional charge for the hours before and after programmed classes.
Hot Lunches are available for $950.00 per academic year for Kindergarten through Grade Three. For Grades Four through Fifth, the charge is $1015.00. An application Fee of $100.00 is required for new Pinecrest students. A Fee of $100.00 is required for Foreign Exchange Students. All tuition payments are due on or before the 10th of each month beginning September 1 and concluding June 1. A $40.00 service charge is imposed if payment is not received by the 10th of each month.
HOW TO APPLY
Admission requirements include a personal interview with parent and child, including previous scholastic records, test scores and recommendations.
