It has been proven that music opens the mind to many forms of development, improving areas such as math, reasoning, etc. Learning to play an instrument or participating in the school choir can be very rewarding.
Under the direction of Mr. Fred Holmes, Pinecrest Lancaster offers four unique music programs that will inspire the students to express their creativity through harmony. Our music students have participated in a variety of performances including a relief benefit for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
All music programs meet at varied times. Please check in the office for detailed information.

Students may also take their musical skills one step further by joining the Panther Band. Mr. Holmes will instruct the students on music theory and teach them to play a woodwind instrument of their choice. Pinecrest provides a beginners and an advanced class.
