Hypothesis: I believe the plant with the clear 2 liter bottle over it will grow the best, as it would duplicate a green house and would intensify the sunlight. The remaining four plants, I believe, will do the best as follows: Miracle Gro, Bottled Water, the green 2 liter covered plant, and the control (tap water) plant.
Conclusion: After charting the growth of the five plants over the last four weeks, the results of the experiment partially proved the hypothesis to be true. As expected, the lobelia that grew and produced the most flowers was the plant with the clear 2 liter bottle over it. The plant that was covered with the green 2 liter bottle experienced similar growth to the clear 2 liter bottle and came in second. In third place, the plant that received only bottled water. Coming in fourth place was the plant that received tap water. The plant that experienced the least growth was the lobelia that was fed the Miracle Gro solution. In conclusion, all of the plants did grow at least 5 centimeters and produced at least 10 flowers over the last four weeks.
