Question: What is sound? Can sound be visualized? Can you see the difference between Rock and Classical music?
Hypothesis: By studying sound waves patterns, you can predict the type of sound that they will produce.
Conclusion: Sound is something that you hear and is a type of energy made by vibrations. A sound wave is the shape or form of a series of vibrations that can be both heard and visualized with the use of a computer. This experiment shows that different types of sounds do create different sound wave patterns. But I also found that it is very hard to predict the exact type of sound from a visual comparison.
