The Wamanoag Tribe
5th Grade Social Studies

Fifth graders studied the Wampanoag Indians, the Native American tribe that met the English settlers when they arrived at Plymouth Rock on the Mayflower. In the pictures on this page, you can see a few of the 'Wetu' huts of the Wampanoag that were made by the students, as well as totem poles that describe the students' family members.
