~~ Academic Excellence for 56 years ~~

When you picture your child's future ...
You see endless possibilities.
So do we!

Our Students Are ...

Readers, Writers and Communicators.

Our curriculum includes a strong core program of phonics, reading, spelling, handwriting, oral and written language, literature and creative expression.

Scientists, Mathematicians and Explorers.

Whether it's growing silk worms in a classroom center, or dissecting squid, our students learn first-hand about the world we live in.

Good Citizens, Wise Decision-Makers and Critical Thinkers.

From community helpers to international leaders, from recycling our newspapers to protecting our forests, we learn how our personal choices affect the health of ourselves and our world.

Athletes and Artists, Poets and Performers,
Inventors and Investigators.

Outside the academic day, our students have many opportunities to pursue special interests through our sports program, individual music lessons, Scout groups, after-school classes, and service to others through our grade-level outreach programs.

Pinecrest School Lancaster is ...

High Student Achievement!

At our Student Honor Assemblies, we recognize children monthly for their efforts, accomplishments and good citizenship.

Over 60 percent of our students, fourth grade and up, earn a place on our honor roll and select honors each quarter.

Our Music students perform in recitals every year.

Strong Curriculum!

Our Pinecrest Course of Study is sequential, accelerated, and exceeds the requirements of the State of California in every subject area. We are members of NIPSA, the National Independent Private Schools Association.

Wide Selection of Learning Tools!

Our basic textbooks and workbooks have all been approved by the State Board of Education. Our students also have access to many manipulative materials, interest centers, science equipment, a modern computer lab, library and music room, all staffed by specialists in these areas. Our learning environment extends beyond the campus with exciting and informative field trips.

High Quality Staff

We select our classroom teachers for their ability to teach and inspire children as well as their experience, academic qualifications and credentials. Each year, we provide both on-and-off campus in-service opportunities in such areas as innovations in education, as well as meeting the various needs of individual children.
