Educational Background: Bachelor of Arts Political Science from UC San Diego. Two years of Graduate studies at CSU Bakersfield.

I believe in teaching through a combination of research based methodology, tough love, and an unrelenting desire to see my students succeed. I enjoy being involved with a little bit of everything-teaching, coaching, administration, and wherever else I’m needed. My most memorable moments are when that “light bulb” turns on when a student suddenly “gets” something that they had been struggling with. In addition,I enjoy helping my middle school students prepare for high school. I also enjoy attending concerts and sporting events whenever possible.
