Educational Background: Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a concentration in mathematics from Cal State Long Beach and California Teaching Credential from Cal State Los Angeles

I believe I play a fundamental role in the growth of all my students. I create a classroom that is nurturing and challenging for all students. I believe in using many different teaching strategies to ensure all students are learning at their highest readiness level. I believe in using hands-on learning strategies in the classroom and making learning fun. I strive to bring out the best in each child and make them well-rounded, independent thinkers.

I enjoy walking onto a campus that is warm and welcoming and families and students say hello. I enjoy working closely with my colleagues and sharing ideas throughout the day.My most memorable moments as an educator are watching my students learn to read. The smile on their face when they realize they can read is the most rewarding feeling as a teacher. When I am at home I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time outside, baking, doing crafts and watching sports.
