Educational Background: Earned my AA Degree from LA City College and earned a Computer Science Certificate from Trade Technical School.

My educational philosophy is to help guide students to reach the best of their ability. I also believe that teaching practice and patience on the keyboard will result in accurate and quick typing, and mastery of the keyboard. I enjoy the opportunity to teach at two different campuses and I like the range from one campus to another. I enjoy the flexibility with the lesson plans I get to create for the different levels of classes. My most profound moments as an educator are being able to see the improvement of the students from year to year. Pinecrest students are advanced with their computer skills and I find it rewarding when a parent comes up to me and says “My child is teaching me what they are learning in computer class.” When I’m not teaching, I enjoy playing tennis or soccer with my daughter, going to the movies, and of course taking apart computers.
