My name is Dan Waybright, and I am the Science teacher here at Pinecrest Schools Canyon Country.  I have been with Pinecrest for 6 years.  I earned my Bachelor’s of Arts and Sciences and General Studies at Kent State University.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family as well at watching, playing and talking about sports.

I’m trying to prepare my students for higher education; both in high school and beyond.  I believe in giving student’s the opportunity to rise to the challenges set before them.

What I enjoy most about my role at Pinecrest is that I enjoy participating in the family-like atmosphere.  Whether it’s playing football, preparing for a test, or just hanging out, it always feels like I’m with family.

As an educator, I enjoy it when past students drop by to say hello.  Over the years, I received visits, emails, and phone calls from previous students and parents thanking me for all the hard work I’ve done to prepare the student for the next level.
