Educational Background: Bachelors Degree University of Maine, Farmington, Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, Cambridge State University

I believe that every child has unique and special gifts. The more time invested in helping children realize and develop their gifts, the more successful their overall educational experience will be. My philosophy is encouragement, praise, and discipline. Being a teacher at Pinecrest allows me the opportunity to get to know my students on a personal level. The extended before and after school care and activities provide so many opportunities to tutor and champion my students in and out of the classroom. Life time friendships are made every year.  I never get tired of hearing, “You made that so much easier to understand,” or “Are you coming to the game?” On my free time I enjoy painting, hiking, the ocean, and music.
