My name is Barrie White, and I have been teaching with Pinecrest Canyon Country for six years.  I have Masters in education and have my California Multi Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, cooking, puzzles, reading, crafting, and movies.

My philosophy on teaching is that you do whatever it takes to reach each student.  This includes but is not limited to reading, laughing, crying, creating, drawing, and if all else fails….Feed them!

My role with Pinecrest has given me the ability to teach new subjects each year, and I love the wonderful students we have.

One of my most memorable moments as an educator is when I was teaching as a resource/intervention teacher and I could help a 1st grader to read.
