My name is Ann Marie Webb, and I am the Kindergarten teacher here at Pinecrest Canyon Country. I have been with Pinecrest for 15 years. I graduated from Pierce College with an AA in Liberal Studies and then earned my BA in Liberal Studies at CSUN.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading fantasy, science fiction, and mystery novels, hiking, spending time with my husband of 14 years and my 6 year-old-son, and love a good cup of coffee.

I believe that every child is unique and learns in their own way. I try to teach most concepts three different ways, visually, auditory, and kinesthetically. I hope by doing, so I can reach all levels and styles of learning.

I enjoy being able to teach my students. However, they learn best. I am free to engage them through songs and art, rather than being “scripted” or told how to teach.

I am always excited the first time one of my non-reading kindergartners reads their first words. I see their little faces light up when they realize they’re able to read.
