Kirk Sunley, Class of '80 - Sherman Oaks Campus

I attended Northridge Pinecrest from 1971 thru 1977 and then Sherman Oaks Pinecrest from 1978 thru 1980. Pinecrest didn't have Senior high school so I attended Granada Hills high from 1981 thru 1983. I was in our Honor Guard with Coach "Gordo" and was on his swim team as well back then. Mr. Plok was my most memorable teacher from those days! Who could forget him? I came away from Pinecrest with respect for higher learning and striving to achieve the best for yourself. I served six years in the military and now fly helicopters as a professional commercial helicopter pilot in the L.A. area. If any of my old friends should see this drop me a line to say hello... Jennifer Jensen Cannon, Attended 1971-1975 - Sherman Oaks Campus

I attended Pinecrest School from approximately 1971 through 1975 for pre-k through the second grade.  During that time I was living with my beloved grandmother, Martha Dordigan.  Those few years I was lucky enough to spend attending Pinecrest were some of the happiest days of my life.  I remember Mrs. Edna Mae Dye very well, and still have my report cards which were signed by her! There is one person from my childhood who I have always wondered about and I thought this might be a way to find her.  Her name is/was Kelly Sullivan and she was my dearest friend back then.  If you're out there Kelly, I would love to hear from you. My father remarried in 1975 and the family relocated first to Long Beach and then to the San Bernardino Mtns. I am currently living on the east coast with my family and am enjoying raising two little girls.  My husband is a pilot for Southwest Airlines so I try to get back to see my family in the valley whenever I can! It was great to find this website and think of all of the good memories that Pinecrest brings back.  If we lived locally, I would definitely send my children.  I learned so much during some of the most important years in a child's life.  Thank you!
