Pinecrest Schools

May 2, 2008 - Pinecrest Schools Simi Valley hosted a Cheerleading Competition in which teams from our Lancaster, Palmdale, Simi Valley and Woodland Hills campuses participated by showing off their exuberant Pinecrest spirit and their skillful cheer and dance routines.

Our judges were five cheerleaders from Simi Valley High School, who ended the competition with an cheer exhibition of their own.

The following awards were given out to the competitors:

Beginning Cheer:
1st Place - Pinecrest Palmdale
2nd Place - Pinecrest Simi Valley

Advanced Cheer:
1st Place - Pinecrest Lancaster
2nd Place - Pinecrest Simi Valley

Best Pop Song:
Pinecrest Woodland Hills

Best Hip Hop/Jazz Song:
Pinecrest Simi Valley

2008 Cheerleading Trophies went to the following teams:

Best Teamwork: Pinecrest Woodland Hills
Most Spirited: Pinecrest Simi Valley
Best Technique: Pinecrest Lancaster
Most Creative: Pinecrest Palmdale
