Question: Which type of wood will burn the fastest?

Hypothesis: This researcher's hypothesis is that Oak will burn the slowest of all and the Poplar will burn the fastest.

Discovery: This researcher discovered that in three minutes, Douglas Fir, or just Fir for short, was the slowest with one centimeter in three minutes, Oak was the second slowest with three centimeters in three minutes, Pine came third with seven and a half centimeters in three minutes, Poplar was fast with
eleven and a half centimeters, and Maple was the fastest with fifteen centimeters in three minutes.
