Question: When you are using seltzer, tap and salt water, which will make 2 green beans grow the fastest?

Hypothesis: The scientist's hypothesis is that seltzer water will make 2 green beans grow the fastest.

Results: The results of the scientist's project were the seltzer water green beans grew the fastest. But, in the first and second week none of the beans grew at all. But, by the third week the seltzer watered bean sprouted. The next week the second seltzer watered bean sprouted too. Soon both of the seltzer watered beans were growing like crazy. A few weeks later the tap watered bean sprouted, but never developed. The salt watered bean never sprouted. The scientist actually thinks that the salt watered bean died.

Discovery: The conclusion of the scientist's experiment is that the scientist's hypothesis was correct. The
seltzer watered green beans grew the fastest. The ingredients in the seltzer water might have helped it
grow faster. Also, the seltzer water did not have the salt in it which could have prevented the salt watered bean to grow.
